Philip's images have appeared in many of the world's leading motorsport and automotive magazines. He is a full member of the Guild of Motoring Writers and is the founder and editor of the Journal of Automotive Photography.
He worked in Hong Kong for 25 years and has authored several books on the history of the Macau Grand Prix as well as an acclaimed biography of Teddy Yip. He is Historical Consultant to the Macau Grand Prix Museum.
In 2024 he published Tracks in the Sand which explores the aesthetic and cultural appeal of the world famous Pendine Sands Hot Rod Races. He now lives in the UK in the Cotswolds.
